The Institute has got two campuses, and one Urban & one rural field practice areas located at different parts of the state of West Bengal. In addition to this, it has also taken over a 60 bedded hospital at Farakka in the district of Murshidabad, West Bengal.
1. Main Campus
Address: 110, Chittaranjan Avenue, Kolkata – 700 073.
Location: The main campus is located in Central Kolkata beside Medical College, School of Tropical Medicine and University of Calcutta. It is well connected by rail, road and air. (About 20 km. from NSC Bose Airport, Kolkata, 3 km. from Howrah and 2 km. from Sealdah railway station. It is very near to Central Metro Station.
The Campus: It is a five storeyed building holding the Office of the Director & other administrative wings. Some of the Academic departments like Deptt. of Statistics, Deptt. of Health Education, Deptt. of MCH, Deptt. of Occupational Health, Deptt. of Public Health Administration, Deptt. of Preventive& Social Medicine and Deptt. of PHN are located in this main campus. It also has the main library with a huge collection of rare and important books on different subjects. It also has good hostel facilities for boys and girls students. The Institute also provides canteen services for the staff and students.
2. B.N. Campus
Address: Block-JC-27 & 27B, Sector-III, Bidhan Nagar (Salt Lake), Kolkata -700098.
Location: This Campus is located near Tank No. 14 at Salt Lake city. It is 1 km. from E.M. Bye Pass & Salt Lake Stadium and 8 km. from the main campus.
The Campus:It has got a state of art building and sprawling campus for teaching learning activities. It accommodates local administrative section and four academic wings viz. Deptt. of Epidemiology, Deptt. of Microbiology, Deptt. of Biochemistry & Nutrition, and Deptt. of Sanitary Engineering. It has also got Student Hostel and International Guest House including Play Ground, departmental library, laboratory, staff canteen and staff quarters.
The Yellow Fever vaccination Centre is also located in this campus.
3. Urban Health Centre (UHC), Chetla
Address: 19B, Chetla Hat Road, Kolkata – 700027.
Location: This centre is located near Judges Court, Alipur. It is 2 km. away from Kalighat Metro station on the way to Ahindramancha.
The Campus: This is the urban health unit of A.I.I.H. & P.H. The centre comprises of three storied building providing different clinics with laboratory services and vaccination. There is a canteen and staff quarters in this centre.
4. Rural Health Unit & Training Centre (RHU & TC), Singur
Address: S.N. Mallick Road, Singur, Dist. Hooghly, Pin – 712409.
Location: It is located about 40 Km. from main campus in the district of Hooghly. It is well connected by rail and road, about 35 Km. from Howrah and near to Durgapur Express Way.
The Campus: The centre comprises of administrative block, lecture hall, students’ hostel with canteen and staff quarters, demonstration corner, public health laboratory, and workshop. The RHU& TC Singur has two Union Health centres at Dearah & Anandanagar including twelve Sub Health Units spread over the entire service area. Comprehensive preventive, promotive and curative services are provided from this centre for the local people.
