Diploma in Dietetics

Course Objective:

To generate trained Nutritionist and Dietician who will work in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes or any other health facilities and also in organizations where nutritional & dietetics related works including counselling is offered to the clients. They may practice as Dieticians after proper entitlement.

Duration:

One year full time Post-Graduate Diploma

Eligibility Criteria:

Bachelor degree with either Physiology or Chemistry; Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics; Food and Nutrition; Nursing or MBBS, BHMS.

Intake Capacity: 31
Admission Procedure:

Selected on the basis of the admission test conducted by the West Bengal University of Health Sciences. All relevant information in this regard is available at the website, www.thewbuhs.org, of the University.

Stipend:

As per present provisions the stipend is Rs.7500.00 per month.
