            One post of Administrative Officer (Gr. B-Gazetted) will be filled up in All India Institute of Hygiene & Public Health, Kolkata by transfer from Central Government Offices on Deputation basis with following eligibility criteria :  Section Officer with 5 years’ service in the grade, OR Assistants with 10 years’ service in the grade, from the Central Secretariat Service having experience of establishment and General administration work.

Note:-  

The period of deputation – ordinarily for 2 years and extending up to 3 years (if required).

  1. Pay – Level 7 in the pay matrix as per CCS RP rules 2016. (Pay Band Rs. 9300-34800/-and Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- as per 6 CPC)
  2. Candidates will be required 5 years APAR, integrity certificate and 3 years vigilance Clearance, from respective department.
  3. The terms and conditions of deputation as stipulated in DoPT’s OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt.(pay II), dated 17/6/2010 are applicable.
  4. The age of applicant shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.

Celebration of World Health Day 2017 at RHU&TC, Singur

An Awareness Programme on ‘Depression – Let us talk’ was organised on 7th April 2017 for all staff members of RHU&TC Singur as part of the observation of World Health Day 2017. Nearly 100 participants including Medical Officers, Public Health Nurses, Health Assistants, Health Workers, Field Workers, Laboratory Staff and General Staff participated in the programme.

Dr Subhash Chandra Mandal, Officer-in-charge, RHU&TC, Singur inaugurated the programme. Dr Onkarnath Chattopadhyay, Consultant Public Health Specialist gave a Power Point presentation on the campaign theme and a general outline on the diagnosis and prevention of depression. Dr Amitabha Dan, Public Health Specialist Grade I gave a Power Point presentation on the problem of depression among adolescents and the elderly. It was a great interactive session with the active exchange of dialogue with the majority of the participants.

Celebration of World Health Day 2017 by AIIH&PH, Kolkata

World Health day 2017 with the theme “Depression” and Slogan “Let Us Talk” was celebrated by the All India Institute of Hygiene and Public Health, Kolkata under the co-ordination of the Department of Public Health Administration. More than 200 participants including PG Trainees, Faculty, Other Officers and Staff participated in the programme.

Dr Narendra Nath Naskar, HOD, Department of Public Health Administration (PHA) welcomed delivered the welcome address and the Programme was inaugurated by Dr R N Chaudhuri, Director of AIIH&PH, Kolkata. Dr Madhumita Dobe, Dean, AIIH&PH, Kolkata highlighted the importance of World Health Day.

Dr Bhaswati Sengupta, Director-Professor, Department of PHA delivered the Key Note Address and Dr Shibani Datta, Professor, Department of PHA explained the Objective of the World Health Day 2017. Dr Annand Kishore DPH, PGT talked about the certain Myths & Stigma associated with the depression.

Dr Moloy Ghosal, Professor & Head, Department of Psychiatry, Calcutta Medical College, Kolkata addressed the house as the Guest Speaker of the function. One short film “Nibritochari,” highlighting a creative old age home was shown to the participants by the promising filmmaker Sh. Sourav Sarkar of Fragrant Creation, Kolkata. Dr Sanjoy Sadhukhan, Professor, Department of PHA delivered the vote of thanks.

Junior Residency Scheme for PG Courses in AIIH&PH, Kolkata

The All India PG Medical Counselling covers the following PG Courses of All India Institute of Hygiene and Public Health, Kolkata and the students admitted in these courses are eligible for the benefits including stipend & allowances (at present, monthly, 1st year: Rs.74138/-; 2nd year: Rs.76147/- and 3rd year: Rs.78280/-), leave, etc. under the Junior Residency Scheme as per provisions made by the Government of India from time to time.
