Curated Program On Introduction of the Three New Criminal Laws.

Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

The major criminal laws have seen an overall change with the introduction of three new criminal laws viz. Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023 to replace the existing Indian Penal Code, 1860, Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 and Indian Evidence Act, 1872 respectively. This course offers a overview of the changes introduced in the Indian Evidence Act and deals with the evidence related reforms specifically dealing with admissibility and appreciation of electronic evidence.

Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.

The major criminal laws have seen an overall change with the introduction of three new criminal laws viz. Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023 to replace the existing Indian Penal Code, 1860, Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 and Indian Evidence Act, 1872 respectively. This course offers a overview of the changes introduced in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 and deals with the procedural reforms relating to crime reporting, investigation, prosecution and trial of offences.
